Internationalisation is a growing subject in our growing university. There are more and more international students visiting our university to study in Groningen and enjoy the student life. However, it is quite difficult for international students to know what to expect of our university as it is often hard to visit the open days. In the future, prospective students will able to virtually visit the University of Groningen via the Online Open Days<\/em> initiative.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Far away and yet still close<\/h3>\n

In 2016, Lijst Calimero wrote a memo<\/a><\/strong> regarding online open days and we are happy to announce that the Board of the University has decided to invest in IVENT, a platform that enables these online open days. Thanks to this platform, future students can participate in Q&A sessions, watch short films and take a look in the different faculties of our university. <\/p>\n
