On December 5th 2013 during the research and education committee, we asked a question about the reopening of the academic writing centre. The National Student Survey had once again indicated that the UG scores low on the development of academic skills. We asked whether there would be a place for a renewed academic writing centre in the renovated university library. Unfortunately, the Board of Directors did not respond positively on our proposal. Since we are still in favour of reopening the Academic Writing Centre, it was included in the election program 2016-2017.<\/p>\n
