The formal recognition of extracurricular activities means that the University of Groningen grants students a certificate that recognizes a student’s efforts in extracurricular activities, such as a board year or student representation. Graduates can show this certificate when they apply for jobs, to explain study delay and show that they contributed to the University and student life in a particular way.<\/p>\n
