\nDuring the council Lijst Calimero pitched the idea for a minor in rhetoric. We think that the art of public speaking and convincing should be taught at the University of Groningen. A rhetoric minor is most of all a study in convincing and can be very broad and interdisciplinary, but also go in depth. The Board of Directors supported the proposal, which would be funded using money earmarked for interdisciplinary minors. Nevertheless, the Board wants a more specific plan and Lijst Calimero will work on that in January with professors and experts on rhetoric.<\/p>\n
