Dear students,
My name is Hanna Berretz, I am 22 years old, originally from Germany, and currently in the last year of my BSc Economics and Business Economics. I was a member of the candidate faction last year as well and this year I have been active in the support faction of Lijst Calimero and I was the chairwoman of the Prospect Magazine committee within the EBF. Working with all these enthusiastic people made me even more interested in running for elections again. So here I am!
During my years here in Groningen I really enjoyed the amazing student life an all it has to offer. However, I the more you get involved, the more you notice what is going wrong at the university. In my opinion, it is very important that the voice of students is heard and that decisions in the university are made in a transparent and open way. University politics should not take place behind closed doors since they involve and affect every single one of us. So far, it is often hard to find relevant and sufficient information. Therefore, information on topics of discussing needs to be accessible to everyone at an early stage so that the concerns and ideas of students can be considered when making important decisions. If you want your voice to be heard, choose for quality, choose Calimero!
