My name is Nina de Winter, I am 21 years old, and I am a third year International Relations and International Organization student. Besides studies I am a fanatic runner, member of study association Albertus Magnus, active in my study association and part of the current support faction of Lijst Calimero. As an active student I am very much aware of the importance of representing the student interests within the University of Groningen. The relevance and importance of active participation, and joint decision making definitely shouldn’t be underestimated or undervalued. Decisions taken by the university should always contribute to the quality of education, and should improve the possibilities for students to develop themselves. Furthermore, it is important that this decision making is transparent and that students are informed about the new developments within the university. This is why decision making needs to be open and honest. If you think that transparant decision making is important, and if you believe that the interest of students should be represented as good as possible, vote for Lijst Calimero during the University Council elections!
