P-in-2 rule withdrawn
In a letter to the Dutch House of Representatives last Friday, September 9th, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science has made clear that universities must amend their BSA regulations. According to the law, universities can only give one binding advice only in the first year. Therefore, the UG will amend the BSA regulations.
Those students that received a provisionally positive study advice in the academic year 2015-2016 can continue their studies, even if they do not gain their propaedeutic certificate.
At the end of September, the University Council will discuss new BSA regulations. Lijst Calimero think it is important that the BSA regulations are designed according to the rules of the law. This means that in the future, students get a definitive binding advice at the end of their first year. It is our opinion that a BSA requirement of 45 ECTS should remain unchanged.
